Rebekah Black is a young author from sunny Southern California, a devoted follower of Christ, podcaster, lover of cookies, and friendly neighborhood glitter fairy.
Her love for stories and writing began as soon as she could hold a pencil and read for herself. Now, an eighteen-year-old and surrounded by her cats and insanely supportive family, she draws from her own experiences, society, and the Bible, to craft fiction that she hopes brings light to the darkness.
Black was the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution award for best essay in 2015, 2016, and 2017 and has been invited to speak to groups made up of young writers from ages thirteen through eighteen and enjoys encouraging and instructing writers in their journey of the written word through mentorship.
Rebekah has been known to burst into song at any given moment and has a passion for learning foreign languages. Currently, she is teaching herself Korean and Chinese, but who knows, Spanish may soon find it’s way from her lips!
Never achieving her dream of becoming an opera singer, she settles for being a fan and when she is not writing novels, you’ll most likely find her either playing piano or guitar, baking up healthy treats for her family and friends, watching K-drama, researching little known time periods, or stanning BTS.
You can find her on Social Media, pretending to be an extrovert when she’d rather be snuggled under a blanket reading by flashlight.
